Oct 18, 2009 - I was looking for a good curly stylist and saw Ande's great reviews. She had previously worked at Moxie and Salon Stella, I believe, and now works at Salon Dpugh as an independent contractor. The salon is awesome, has a laid-back bohemian vibe that I love. Ande was very friendly and when I wasn't sure what I wanted (a trim?), she intuitively saw that I liked my long bohemian look and didn't want it short or with too many layers. She said she could add some texture throughout without compromising length or moving away from my style. She cut my hair wet, which I've heard is a no-no, but I just went with it to see what she'd come up with, since my hair is finer and more wavy than curly. I was very skeptical though and wasn't sure if I liked it. She used mousse, diffused until about 60-70% dry, then added sebastian mud. After I left the salon and it dried completely, it looked great! I love it!!! I will definitely go back and I highly recommend Ande!
