Feb 02, 2011 - I was very nervous to go to this salon. I am bi-racial and I have very curly hair (3c-4 not very sure) I asked Amy for a cut to give me shape to my hair. Usually, my hair is cut after it has been blowed dried and flat ironed, but Amy cut my hair curly. For the most part, I love the cut. I actually have a bit of shape to my hair now which I did not have before. I am not sure I would be able to wear my hair straight and have it even because it was cut curly, but I rarely wear it straight. I still noticed that I had a lot of split ends and that sort of bummed me out. My biggest issue were the products used to style my hair. I forget the brand, but when I left the salon and went home I noticed the products only left my hair feeling sticky and lots of flakes and residue throughout my hair. The salon was gorgeous, but I think limiting the products to one line may not work for everyone.
