Carols Daughter Marula Softening Hair Mask

Sep 09, 2014 - Can I just request that the print on these labels be larger? All of the products in this line were cream colored print on pink--and so tiny!! Anyway, I used this after coloring my 3a heavily grey hair that's been very dry and challenging to define. I loved the moisture from this product--it's just what I needed! But that smell--sickly sweet to have so close to your nose for so long. I didn't get much curl definition from this or any of the products in this line, but I did see quite a bit more moisture than usual. I'll use this after coloring in the future, but not sure I'll buy this line because of the fragrance.

Carols Daughter Marula Oil Softening Serum

Sep 09, 2014 - I'd give this a 5 if it didn't smell like my grandmother. I loved the softening I got and the hydration--using a small amount on dry, styled hair (read: kinda crunchy), I noticed instant softening without greasiness. I love oils that don't weigh my hair down, and will continue to use this on my 3a ends regularly.

Carols Daughter Marula Diffusing & Styling Lotion

Sep 09, 2014 - I really dislike the scent of this product. Far too strong for a girl with allergies. Anyway, I did love the softening and hydration I got when used on damp hair, but really didn't get any curl definition from this, even with scrunching with a diffuser. And I lost all definition that I had achieved once I slept on it. Even my usual water spritz the next morning would not revive them. I'll try again when I want to straighten my 3a curls, because I do like the soft touch it gives my hair, but not when I want my curls defined.
