- Beverly Meyer Neeland
Feb 05, 2011 - If you have curly hair like me, you know the pains and frustrations that come with visits to the salon. I've been everywhere: fancy salons in hotels, small trendy salons, large chains and stores with salons in them. I've had the young, innovative stylist, the older, experienced stylist and even my best friends "trust me, she's the best stylist ever" stylist....in the end, I always leave exasperated, crying or even worse - totally defeated and hating my hair. I'm sharing this background with you because I want all of you frustrated, curly haired women to know that there is hope. I've found a stylist who understands the difference between cutting hair and cutting and styling curly hair. I had the opportunity to visit Beverly Neeland back when she had a salon in Northern California. As happy as I after my first appointment, I was just as upset when I found out she was relocating to San Diego! As luck would have it, my husband found a new job in Temecula and to make a long story short - I am only an hour away from her San Diego location! Well, I just got back from Hello Curls and I love my hair. It is healthy-looking, manageable and doesn't look like like a big brown pyramid of Top Ramen noodles! Thank you, Beverly and see you soon!
