Dec 17, 2009 - When my regular stylist became so popular that it took 6 weeks or more to get an appointment, I decided to try Tina, based on the many positive reviews here. While I liked her and found her to be extremely personable, I was very disappointed with the cut and the experience. She cut my hair dry with a very light hand. (I realized later that she barely cut any hair off.) When I commented that I needed the front cut a little shorter, she texturized it instead. After she finished cutting, she never washed or even styled my hair. She sprayed some Deva stuff in it and sent me on my way with dirty hair. When I paid, the front desk person told me the cut was $50, which I thought was cheap but not unreasonable, due to the fact that I didn't get my hair washed or styled. I noticed the next day that the I had been charged $75 (plus tip), not $50. When I called and asked about it, the person I spoke with said the cut was $75 but she would check into it and call me back. I never heard back. I also realized the next day, after washing and styling my hair, that I had a terrible cut. My hair looked like a triangle and was completely flat on top. I felt like I gave Tina and Spa Blix the benefit of the doubt by calling them and giving them the opportunity to make things right. When I didn't even get a call back, I decided then and there never to stray from my regular stylist again.
