Mar 08, 2011 - I made my first appointment with Curltopia Salon for “The Big Chop.” I was especially grateful to get an appointment a day in advance. I received a reminder phone call two days in advance. When I arrived, I was greeted and had minimal to no wait to get started on my hair. I was a little reluctant, but the staff made me feel comfortable. The shop was clean and neat. I was offered a beverage on several occasions and had all my questions answered. There was even reading material for while I was under the dryer. Everyone was involved in my hair education. It did not matter if I was his/her client or not. When the style was done, I left with a hair prescription (list of products that was used on my hair and how to use them). This was especially helpful so that I would not forget. After that, I thought I would experiment on my own. I was still missing some things evident by the results that I was getting, so I made another appointment. Fast forward 8 months later, I had my second visit. I still received the same excellent customer service, appointment reminder, hair prescription, and had all my questions answered. In my mind I wondered why I ever stopped coming. I am extremely satisfied. Since going back, I have been able to style my hair between visits. I know that I am doing something right because complete strangers have asked questions about my hair. My stylist Giselle is amazing!!! I happily recommend Curltopia and give this salon a thumbs up. Oh yeah and they don’t just specialize in natural hair. They do it all. Who could ask for more?
