Jun 27, 2011 - Cindy is simply the best! While she is a bit costly, its a case of "you get what you pay for." I tried someone else out who also claimed to be a curly hair specialist and who was cheaper, but did not get anywhere near the level of service, professionalism and skill as I do with Cindy. I'll never stray again!
Jun 27, 2011 - I, like many others, went to Anna for a Deva Cut. I was happy with my current stylist, but thought I'd give Anna a try because my other stylist is not trained in the Deva Cut and Anna is a little bit less expensive. The first time I went to Anna, she seemed to be in a foul mood and/or not like me. She was curt and dismissive and even insulted my grey hairs (they don't bother me, but I guess they bothered her). She was juggling me with another client (cutting that person's hair while she had me under the dryer). The way she styled my hair wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible and I'm used to stylists not knowing quite how to handle my hair. The haircut itself was a good one. After that experience, I decided to give Anna the benefit of the doubt and chalk her attitude up to the possibility that she was just having a bad day. I booked a second appointment with her 3 months later with the hope that I would have a better experience. At my second haircut, her attitude was just the same - rude and condescending. She was again juggling me with another client and this time, she styled my hair horribly. I am going back to my previous stylist - I don't mind paying a bit more for someone who is pleasant to spend time with and her wet haircut is just as good as Anna's Deva Cut.
