Feb 22, 2011 - I just got my first Anson Howard haircut, and I must say that I was really impressed! He took over an hour to cut my hair, and when he made a cut he would examine the look from multiple different angles. He cut my hair dry, and he picked up on my hair's... eccentricities... without me even having to outline them for him!! It was such a pleasant change from my usual salon experience, where I tell the stylist that the hair closest to my neck is just straighter than the rest, so they shouldn't layer it too dramatically in the back because the differences in curliness will take care of that on its own! I have always had to chop away at that layer of my hair after I get a haircut because of the stylist not paying attention, but I didn't have to TOUCH this haircut. It was a wonderful experience!! P.S. I noticed that Anson Howard has 1 scissor as his rating, but I would just like to point out that that is only because the rating system was only introduced with the last reviewer, who seems to have had a quite uncommon experience with Anson. I think that it is misleading, because while it states that there are 12 reviews, it comes across that all of his reviews were poor because of one person's bad experience.
