Jan 08, 2009 - If you have curly hair, do yourself a favor and try out Christo's! I have been going to Christo 5th Avenue for over a year now. Never in my life has anyone ever cut my hair as beautifully as Slava. He is a true curl expert! My curls used to get weighed down by the cut and just frizz - or my hair would get so bulky I would just keep it in a bun or pony tail. But for the last year I have had great curls. Slava also colors my hair and the color is the best I have ever had. It brings out my fair skin and blue eyes. I consistently get compliments at work, from relatives, and even when I am on vacation I have had strangers comment on my cut and color. I first went to Christo's just for a consultation. I was a little intimidated to go to a NYC salon on 5th avenue, but everyone is so gracious and welcoming. I remember also how excited Slava was to makeover my look, he really loves what he does. After a few months I got the hang of the Christo hair products Slava showed me how to use. I wash my hair, use leave in conditioner, then mix a little gel and lotion in my hand, use my fingers to comb it through my hair, blow dry and viola - I have a great head of bouncy curls. It sounds corny, but when I look in the mirror I am so pleased with my look I always have to smile and think "thank you" to Slava.
