Oct 18, 2011 - I thought this conditioner was pretty good as a rinse-out, but then I tried it as a leave-in on my wet hair and I was thrilled. It really moisturizes without making my fine hair greasy or weighed down. My curls are so full of life now! The scent is a little stronger than I like, but I have gotten used to it. I use this conditioner with the corresponding shea butter shampoo, and my hair looks and feels better than it ever has.

Oct 18, 2011 - This is easily the best shampoo I have ever used. It moisturizes without weighing down my fine hair, but what amazes me most is that it really cleanses my hair and scalp as well. I have kind of an oily scalp, and this shampoo really cleans away the excess oil without stripping and drying out my hair. Somehow they have found the magical balance between moisturizing and cleansing, at least for me. The smell is perfumier than I like my shampoos to be, but I have gotten used to it, and the other benefits totally outweigh the scent. My hair and scalp feel very healthy and happy.

Aug 29, 2010 - I had been hesitant to try this for a long time because of the mixed reviews. Also, having grown up in the 80s, I am wary of gels in general. But I have been using it for about a week, and I am pleased with the results. I have very fine hair, and it gives me good curl definition, shine, and volume. It isn't sticky or crunchy. I tried it by itself with no other products, and it did dry my hair out a bit. But now I am using it with a leave-in underneath, and my hair is not dried out. I gave it 4 curls instead of 5 because it would be nice if I didn't have to use other products to counteract the drying properties. Also it is a little expensive. But overall I am very pleased with this gel, and I will continue to use it for the foreseeable future.
