Mar 10, 2011 - I moved to the D.C. Region less than 9 months ago and have been looking for a new stylist since. My last out west, I religious saw for nearly ... well a long time. ; ) Well, I'll be looking no further. Not the cheapest cut I've ever had, but I wasn't crying the day after and I was MORE than pleased with how well Jackie know's her way around a head of curls. I've got 3a or 3b curls depending on the day and humidity level... I don't try to hide them, and I love my curls. I want to be clear, I'm not fan of fad, trends and of the minute cuts. So you can keep your deva only cuts and unhealthy keratin treatments. I tend to land somewhere in the middle on things, in that I quality so if that means learning more than one way or technique to your trade (stylist, etc) makes you better in what you do, wonderful! But I'm not going out of my way for some dry cut I've got to retouch every four weeks or less. Wt% Anyway, Jackie just knows a good cut. I'd probably pass on the style afterwards, but like any relationship and any women/person will admit this... a good stylist you follow and establish a relationship with (because... ha! you may end up knowing her longer than more disposal areas of your life :) and you communicate what works and what doesn't. With a stylist, if you a good basic foundation... i.e. you can cut my curls so they look amazing when the air dry, I work with the rest. I would definitely recommend Jackie as a stylist! Best of luck in your search. : )
