SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo

Feb 15, 2012 - Love this stuff...gives my hair super moisture and leaves my hair clean w/o it being squeaky clean.

SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner

Feb 15, 2012 - Love this conditioner, gave my hair some major slip (better then KCKT) and really gave it the moisture it needed. I've only used it as a rinse out conditioner thus far, and I love the way it works. I'm thinking about using it as a co-wash, but what I'll probably do is put some in a separate bottle and dilute it since its not a cheapy conditioner like VO5 or Suave.

Kinky-Curly Curling Custard

Jan 21, 2012 - I liked this product a lot. I purchased it as an alternative to my homemade flaxseed gel, since the flaxseed gel has to be refrigerated all the time, it wasn't practical to take the flaxseed gel with me while I was going out of town for a few days. So I purchased this gel because I still wanted something natural and at least somewhat chemical free. I have to say that it definitely defined my curls, and I got a compliment from my boyfriend when I used this product. I give it 4 starts instead of 5 because it left my hair kind of dry. But then again all I did was apply it to soaking wet hair the first time w/o a conditioner or of any sort or moisturizer, but that's because the product said it was supposed to moisturize. I tried it again after I applied my shea butter concoction and it didn't leave my hair as dry. I like this product only as an alternative to my homemade flaxseed gel, when I don't have time to make it, or when its impractical for me to take it with me out to town, since it has to be refrigerated. But I agree with everyone, a little goes a long way with this stuff....I didn't apply a lot...perhaps a nickle size and it was more then enough.
