Carol’s Daughter

Ranging from edgy to Athleisure, Carol’s Daughter gave us an ode to all things Brooklyn culture. With an emphasis on taking each look to the max, each look “consisted a wearable style, but to the extreme”- Ty Hunter. I should also mention that Ty Hunter has styled Beyonce and Solange for years. Yep, you read that right.

Creme of Nature

With an opening from Hiplet dancers swaying in two gorgeous dresses in vibrant hues, Creme of Nature upped the ante with a focus on neon hues. A myriad of dresses and skirt sets gave us a little flirtiness, while a killer jumpsuit and acrylic earrings brought a swag like no other to the runway.

CurlFormers

Featuring the most ready-to-wear looks out of all of the collections, Curlformers gave us bohemian chic with a little bit of flair. Can we talk about this yellow blazer and green silk cardigan though? All so swoon worthy! The jewel tones featured in their ensembles are currently on trend for Fall 2017, so think of these looks as your next shopping guide.

Shea Moisture

Who doesn’t love a good all white fit?! Shea Moisture proved that we can still break all the fashion rules and rock white, as long as we keep it in simple silhouettes and let a statement piece, such as our hair, do the talking. All models rocked styles from the UNIFORM collection, just one of the aspects of Shea Moisture’s community empowerment initiative. Read more about that here!

Crowd Looks

Of course we can’t forget the crowd when we mention New York Fashion Week! The textured world showed up and showed out with their fits, and each one was better than the last. Influencer fashion is a category all on its own, and our crowd pulled together some stylish looks.
