Bun

The natural hair family we love to love is back at it – or well, the 11-year old superstar is! Willow Smith premiered her new music video, “Fireball” featuring Nicki Minaj, Dec. 7 on BET’s “106 & Park.”

Willow, best known in the natural hair community as the singer of, “Whip My Hair,” teams up with hip-hop superstar Nicki Minaj, and the two ladies get the party started. While the video features both women sans showcasing their natural hair, Willow’s is straightened and Nicki is in a wig – big surprise, we can’t help but publish a little something-something on the duo!

Once you get past the dance moves that I, as a grown woman, couldn’t ever master, and start listening to the lyrics of the single, it’s hard to turn the track off. Willow is living out every 11-year-old’s dream, and bragging about it to boot!

“I set fire everywhere I play, make them all go insane, L.A. to UK,” and the girl isn’t lying. Willow rocked out in Birmingham, UK in March and performed next to Justin Beiber in L.A. back in October 2010. And fans LOVED it!

Almost makes it a little funny when Minaj jumps in with, “Put you under my wing, I’m the top boss.” Hmm, I don’t think Willow needs any help, Nic, but that’s OK. You probably don’t either. Ah, the bliss of not writing your own lyrics.

Anyway, the single is rockin’ and I’m putting it on replay next to all my other favorite natural haired singles – even if this one isn’t about hair. This lyric counts, “When it’s time to whip your hair, put your braids up,” right?

Side note: Does Roc Nation own EVERYONE? Seriously!
