My husband, Gordon, likes to go to Chinatown on Sundays for dim sum. One Sunday he brought home an almond cookie for me. As I tested it, I could taste the individual flavors in the cookie and I wondered what those notes would smell like together. The goal of the scent was not so much to recreate the scent of that cookie, but more the feeling I felt receiving it. That warm feeling of receiving a thoughtful gift from someone I love who loves me. The warm feeling you feel, knowing that you are loved. Hence, Almond Cookie is not overly sweet or gourmand and is more powdery, soft and warm.
Almond Cookie Shea Soufflé
I LOVE the texture. I LOVE how it is rich and light at the same time. Moisturizes like a heavy-hitting body cream, but with a light texture that glides onto the skin. I love how easy it is to rub it in and I love the dewey feel it leaves on the skin. Soufflé is gorgeous to me. Perfect all the time.
Ecstasy Body Cleansing Gel & Body Butter
Body Cleansing Gel: I love the moisturizing lather. It’s a sulfate-free cleanser that cleanses and hydrates and doesn’t dry out the skin, but rinses clean. LOVE our Body Cleansing Gels. Perfect performance every time!
Body Butter: I love the shine it leaves behind without feeling heavy and greasy. It is a beautiful emulsion that just penetrates into the skin. In my house the one that gets used most often is Love Butter. Gordon, my husband, loves that and I love the way it smells on him. He used to use Ocean in the warmer months and Love Butter in the colder months. I have to get some more Ocean for him and refrigerate it before we sell our of our final stock.
