Okay, now that Curl Terminology 101 is over, we can get to the real stuff. Dictionary.com may not say they’re officially antonyms, but volume and definition often seem like they’re mutually exclusive properties as far as our hair is concerned. You either stretch your style into bigger, looser waves, or you tighten things up into distinct spirals that leave you with a more compacted look.

Well we never did ascribe to the ‘You can’t have it all’  method of thinking around these parts. So NaturallyCurly partnered with Modelesque_Nic and Fantasia Curls & Coils to create this High Puff that’s both large and full of clear cute coils! Let’s take a look!

Too Fabulous™!

Nic mixed the Coconut & Shea Butter Leave-in Conditioner with good ol’ H2O in her spray bottle, effectively putting the LOC method all in one bottle! Be sure to shake well, and add small amounts, testing often until you get the consistency you need.

After that, Nic went over her re-sectioned sections with the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Activator Cream to really wake her coils up. Then you’ll want to shingle away post-detangling for the first step of that definition!

Following a little diffusion break, Nic got an afropick to fluff up her curls at the roots only! That’s where you’re going to get your volume. Smoothing the sides of her hair, pineapple scarfing overnight (or under a dryer”>, then further fluffing/shaping the final results gave Nic an adorable pom-pom pop look that showed off spirals AND size.

Nice.
