NC: What is the best thing about being curly?
GD: The best thing about being curly is the fact that it is very versatile! I can wear it straight, then wash it, and the next day it is back to being curly! And I love that, for some reason, I feel so fierce with my curly hair!
NC: What would you tell others to encourage them to embrace their curls?
GD: Having curly hair is an exciting and unique gift…rock what you’ve got! And remember that not everyone understands natural hair. You will be criticized occasionally; don’t let it discourage you. Curly girls have more fun!
NC: Tell us about your current and upcoming projects!
GD: I just got finished interning at a dental office. Now I am just concentrating on doing my best in school and making it through life as an average teenager!
