Post 2: Welp. Its official: Curly Girls Rock!
I’ll be the first to admit it: I am a hair show junkie. This is my third time in Atlanta in the span of a year for a hair-related event. As a gal from the West Coast, it’s quite a trek, I know, but I just can’t help myself. I may be a veteran on the hair show front, but I’m a rookie this weekend because this is my FIRST World Natural Hair Show. I couldn’t be more excited to experience the natural wonderland that is about to go down in the A over the next couple days! I’m here with Miss Megan of NaturallyCurly and together we made it through some heart-stopping turbulence, navigation mishaps, and Atlanta rush hour traffic to get to this blog post, but now we’re here and ready to take on the weekend!

Before the two-day conference and expo takes off tomorrow, we’re kicking things off tonight with Curly Girls Rock, a mixer hosted by the ATL-based bloggettes of Alexis of Lexiwiththecurls, Farrah of MahoganyKnots, and Adrienne of MeMyHair&TheCity. The Facebook and Twitter-spheres have been a-flurry for weeks now with people talking about the event and I’m expecting it to be a veritable who’s who of natural hair with lots of familiar friends and new faces. I’ll be blogging here all weekend, so stay tuned for fresh updates on all of the World Natural Hair Show fun!
