When I found out that Naturally Curly would be hosting a pool party in Orlando during one of the hottest months of the year, I got so excited I almost pee’d my pants! Imagine, a pool party filled with gorgeous people, proudly rocking natural curls AND swimwear! Fabulous! I could see myself floating on one of those pool raft things with a margarita in one hand, beckoning a cabana boy for a refill with the other. Then I remembered that I no longer live in Florida, but now reside in Illinois and I became so sad that I could’ve cried. Sigh. Alas, I will not be in attendance for this year’s pool party but I will be there in spirit and on Twitter #curlypool!
This year, NaturallyCurly pulls out all of the stops, having fab, fave brands like Amika, Ouidad, and a personal fave of mine, Shea Moisture on deck! Ugh. I’m uber jealous over here. Throw in the cocktails, styling demonstrations, goodie bags and giveaways that will be going on and you have something way bigger than a function, you have an EVENT!
