Sounds like you had a great "functional fitness" day.
My secret to 42 pushups was that I took a couple minute breaks in between sets of them. I didn't do them all at once, so it sounded better then it was.

This morning: I did the Insanity Fit test. You do 8 "drills" and count your reps as a bench mark and you redo this test every two weeks to compare your results. This only took about 30 minutes so I did a walk/run for another 20 minutes.
