Why would your hair go limp from protein? Protein sensitivities usually make your hair immediately straw-like, hard and brittle, not limp. If you think you have a coarse texture, there is usually no doubt when you react to proteins. Limp hair is a symptom of over conditioning and or lack of protein.
Oh my goodness, I'm so confused and I have definite information overload...So maybe I don't have to worry about protein, then? All I remember happening is that I had absolutely no curl, and I think I just figured that since a lot of the coarse textures on here had protein sensitivity, so did I.
