You can get sulfate-free hard water shampoos -- they are just kinda hard to find. Some people order the Malibu Well water and that's sulfate free. I just get serious scalp/oil build up, so I just use the sulfate chelating shampoo 1 - 2x a month to take care of it all.

Beauty bar is not okay. If it is solid = bad for hard water. Especially on your face. But the body wash should be fine.

I didn't know robert craig had a hard water poo! I'll have to check that out.

You know, I just went and checked out the ingred on both of those, and I'm really not impressed. If you have really hard water, citric acid at the bottom of the list is not going to cut it. Also, I would like to say that in my experience "extremely hard water" is not budged by citrus extracts. Seriously. You need something with EDTA or citric acid very high on the list. CJ Daily Fix has both I believe and so does Joico and Kenra's chelating shampoos. The Daily fix doesn't even have any sulfates.
