An extra bit of gel is good, especially strong-hold gel. I usually wash my hair two hours before going to bed so that when I do get into bed my hair still looks wet but isnt dripping. the extra strong gel leaves it really crispy and pretty awful looking, but it holds up through the night. so when i wake up the curls are still a bit weird looking but the steam from the shower helps uncrisp them and then a flip of my head and a shake at the roots and it looks good to go! i find if i go to bed with completely dry and nice looking hair it will be frizzy in the morning but if i go to bed when the hair is still crispy from gel i'll get no frizz!
