I buy the huge aloe leaf in the supermarket peel it...put all the pulp and goop in the blender/food processor blend it till its smooth...then strain it I usually cut up a old pantyhose to strain definitely has a lot of pulp so I sometimes strain it twice....then I add the strained aloe gel to the flax seed gel 50:50 and thats it..I store it in the fridge, it lasts me about a week. It is messy and time consuming but its really moisturizing. I have used the blended aloe alone as deep conditioner with awesome results as well.
