Many of us still subscribe to the good hair/bad hair mentality. Luckily for me I didn't grow up hearing x-hair type is better than y-hair type and when I decided to go natural I had no real intentions to wear "curly" styles because 1. I wanted to wear a fro and 2. I was already familiar with my hair type. 4B hair is a common hair type and we hardly see it in its natural state because it's being relaxed, weaved, straightened or covered up. I also believe 4bs are least likely to go natural and/or get discourage easily.
