I seem to wrestling with this issue:

I know for a fact that my BKTs began fading after using * all natural* products that contained salt:

Shea Moisture Deep Moisture mask and Giovanni Tea Tree Shampoo

But here's my issue: I'm noticing that even BKT and BB products contain OTHER forms of sodium. Could/Would the manufacturers of these products put these shampoos and conditioners on the market if they really DID strip your BKT/BB??

For instance:

I looked up the ingredients in Copolla's color care shampoo and they are as follows:

Water/Aqua/Eau, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Rice Oil Glycereth-8 Esters, Glycol Distearate, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Hydrolyzed Soy protein, Hydrolyzed

I also went out and purchased the BB aftercare products about 5-6 weeks ago, even though I don't have a BB, but stopped using them when I read the ingredients in the shampoo contains the following ingredients:

Disodium Laureth, Sodium lauryl sukfoacetate, sodium cocylesthionate,

The BB deep conditioning mask and leave in serum contain: Sodium PCA/Sodium Lactate

Any insight?
