Interesting - I was told to use protein now and then, but it wasn't so specific. I wish it was!

Anyway, this is what I know about proteins (and it might not be all-encompassing):

if it says "hydrolyzed" it's probably a protein
if it says "amino acid" it's probably a protein
if it says "keratin" it's probably a protein.

I have been using protein almost every time I wet my hair now (every 2-3 days) along with moisture and my hair has only improved. I did an experiment to see how long I could go without protein and after about a week my hair got way too fluffy and yuck. So I think plenty of protein is for me!
