Not tryin to be a naysayer buuuuuut, in my experience the non-Denman versions aren't the same. They look identical sometimes, but they aren't. The Denman has smooth teeth, the one I bought before it, trying to save money, has seems, and some of those seems are rough. There's more flexibility in the base in the Denman allowing for less pulling as well. The teeth on my first one are all bent up from use. The Denman teeth have withstood and maintained their shape. Just adding my two cents.
