I think you are definitely right about the balance. It's such a thin line! If I overdo the moisture, curls droop. Overdo the protein, straw!!

I washed, did a mild DT and used lots of LI and my hair is much better for it. I also didn't use any protein stylers today (a little in the LI). Maybe I just can't use protein stylers too often?

My question now is if my naked hair is already fairly shiny and healthy (low porosity) , are the PTs and DTs necessary or just overkill? Am I just making the build up worse?
