I'm crashing this thread to announce that I lost 25 pounds since January without trying!! I had rapidly gained a lot of weight due to a combination of health problems. That, of course, made me reexamine my eating habits. And between that and being able to be active again, I've managed to lose 25 pounds without even looking at the scale in all that time. Hooray me!! It wasn't effortless--I'm still working on developing better eating habits. But I hadn't set out to lose weight, only to stop gaining weight so quickly. And I was so unused to being overweight that I seriously didn't notice that I was losing!

(Not looking for compliments...just needed to document this somewhere)
