If you had two very healthy-seeming children who almost never need any kind of medical attention, would you continue to use the services of a pediatrician you really like and trust but who is located so far away from where you currently live and runs such a busy practice that a typical visit takes the better part of a day?

Or would you switch to a pediatrician whose practice is conveniently located very close to home?

For healthy children, does it really matter if you switch doctors on them?

I'm not asking this right...I want my kids to have excellent care, of course. And if they were sickly kids or kids suffering from some chronic or serious condition, then yes, continuity of care would be critical. But if they just go for an annual check-up and to get shots, for the most part, would it be reasonable to trust any reputable pediatrician to take care of them?
