It's the best place to start.

The Miss Jessie's products are really expensive for the ingredients they use, at this point. I used them before the ingredients changed and wasn't impressed. Would never buy them now. When I first started on, I tried everything that was CG. I may have tried some of the mixed chicks products. If I did, I didn't keep them or repurchase.

KCCC is a product that everyone should try. The first time I used it, I got my best hair ever--up until that point. I found other things I like better, but started using it again with the Curly Kinks Satin Roots or DT and it works REALLY well. I actually like the jelly product (KC TT Moisturizing Styler) from the child's line a lot. KCKT isn't moisturizing enough for my hair, so I don't think it's something that you'll want to try.

I have low porosity/fine hair. I'm always looking for volume, so use minute amounts of rich products and lots of protein. My hair prefers the more natural products from the online, boutique type companies. Some rich products you might want to consider are Marie Dean and Kozama. Curl Junkie may also be a good line for you.
