Trader Joe's Nourish Shampoo is sulfate free. It's about $3.

Check what I said in my earlier post - that Trader Joe's shampoos were around $3 and had a sulfate that was low down on the ingredient list, so they were (IMO) not as harsh. I personally really like TJ's shampoos and the sulfate does not bother me, and I have dry hair. I think as long as you aren't using the sulfate shampoo to wash with every time you poo your hair, you're ok. But everyone's hair reacts differently. Still, it's a matter of preference, but IMO TJ's poos are some of the best on the market and you can't beat their price.
