KCKT dry you out?

Anyone not have luck with KCKT? It dried out my hair after my last cowash and I really don't get why...I mean there's nothing drying about the ingredients. I wonder if i'm the only one?

2b, low porosity, medium

Products I use: Suave Naturals Ocean Breeze, Tresemme Naturals, (still searching for a leave in), LA Looks gel and Pantene Curl Spray Gel
I found KCKT to be not very moisturizing. It didn't necessarily dry my hair out, but it did nothing to moisturize my hair. It did have great slip/detangling, but I found I had to use a ton and still didn't feel very moisturized.
2c/3a, botticelli/wavy/'swavy (huh?)
fine, dense, normal porosity/elasticity, dry climate

My favorite brands are Kinky Curly, As I am, Curly Kinks, Curl Junkie, and Darcy's Botanicals. Also love sealing with oils (loving argan oil right now) and styling with jelly products (KCCC is my current favorite). Mostly trying to keep it simple!

I, too, didn't find KCKT moisturizing enough for my hair. It's primarily a detangler for a lot of people. My hair doesn't tangle. So, I only buy the leave in/detanglers that I find moisturizing.
3a (Corkicelli), highlighted, fine, low porosity

HGs: Anything Sevi; Curly Kinks Satin Roots, Curlycue ReNew and Coil Jam; homemade FSG and okra gel; soap bars; UFD Curly Magic; Botanical Spirits Jellies, CJ Repair Me, Aloe Fix
I don't use it as a moisturizer or a conditioner but as a detangler. I haven't found it to be drying at all but it's not moisturizing enough for me to use by itself. I haven't found a my HG conditioner yet. I'm experimenting with different products right now.
