so how bad it is?

Just started the no-poo no heat method.
Also any suggestions ot keep my hair out of my face stylishly while working out and teaching would be much appreciated.

head bands and cute updos will be your friends at first! I workout regularly and I wear the naughty hair bands, the ones with grippy stuff. I know it damages my hair but I hate how my hair slips out otherwise.

I work in education as well. Fortunately, the atmosphere is pretty casual and I'm not the only teacher that goes to school with crunchy hair! I always bring a normal hair band for the days when the hair isn't working. My default is a messy bun.
Coarse texture, normal-high porosity, normal elasticity (Komaza Care), very weak waves
cleanser: Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo, CJ Daily Fix

rinse out: GVP Conditioning Balm, CJ Beauticurls, CJ Smoothing

jellies/creams: CR Curl Maker, KCCC
gels: CJ CQ, CJ Pattern Pusha, BRHG

I too am trying the no shampoo/no heat method. ( but I'm mostly just low heat/shampoo now)
When I do my hair w/o heat/shampoo and I need to put it up out of my way I go for clips. I like the med. to big size with wider teeth. It's super easy to do a quick messy up-do and is not damaging.
When I do it I pull my hair into a pony tail, give a quick twist and pop on a clip. Fluff the curls and presto awesome hair that stays in place
