Calling all 2b's, 2c's and 3a's! What products work best for you?
Hi all,

I have mostly 2c hair that is very long, med porosity, high density, med width. My hair is quite long and thick and very frizzy. I am Filipino & Jamaican.

My shampoo is (Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco) silicone and sulfate free, however the conditioner (also the MA Oil of Morocco) is sulfate-free, but not silicone-free.

I want to use a silicone-free and sulfate-free leave-in conditioner, and I would like a gel or cream for styling, that will give me hold and definition. I've never been able to get second day hair with decent definition and without frizz.

Please leave your suggestions and ideas in terms of products! I live in the Toronto, Canada area. I would like to get my products on ground. Thanks in advance for your help!

Shampoo for me increases frizz, reduces clumps and dries out my hair, conditioner-only washing is a godsend. Gels rich in propylene glycol work well for me in terms of reducing frizz, for example Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper. Another option would be to make a version of 'Ecostyler custard' with any gel you have, with or without aloe vera depending on your humidity/ dew points.

It's kind of soon for me to tell what will work for the long run-I've only been doing this for 2 1/2 weeks-BUT I do like Tresemme Naturals to cowash and to leave in a little if I need it. My microfiber towel seems to be working well. I'm liking BEHAVE by Biomega so far. I did not like Ren Cleansing Conditioner and knew that by the 3rd time I used it I used Organix shampoo once mixed with conditioner and that seemed to work for an occasional shampooing.
