Clumpy + "curly" combo!

I'm still relatively new to and the quest for my HG products (I've been CurlMart-ing and swapping like mad, though!).

I'm doing the CG routine in the sense that I use a Jessicurl poo every other day or so and just condish on the days I don't wash with poo, and I'm delighted with the results -- softness and shine!

And while I'm t-r-y-i-n-g (*sigh*) to come to terms with the fact that I'm a wavy and will never have a headful of ringlets, I can't help but try to encourage a LITTLE more curl...

CurlMart included a complimentary tube of Back to Basics Curl Activating Gel with my last order (odd, because they don't seem to sell it -- maybe they're testing the response from customers to see if they should stock it?).

I used the gel over AG re:coil yesterday and got clumpy "curls." I can get some 3a curls every now and then, but this was more like some 3as with chunks of strong waves (if that makes any sense). Plus, the hold lasted all day.

I think I read that the Back to Basics Curl Activating Gel is CG friendly, but I can't find the post now. Does anyone know? I can post the ingredients, if that helps. TIA!
Hi! I think the B2B is CG friendly. The only thread I could find was about the reformulated line here. Hope this helps you out.

Have you tried any of the Curls products? I got spirals with it, but it was a little too much for my fine/thin hair. I like the Curls Naturally Enhanced Curl Lotion (it's been renamed but can't think of what it is right now!). They are CG friendly.
CG-modified since 4/05
2b/3a and 3b on occasion!

Best definition winner: KCCC
Best volume winner: LOOB
Thanks for the info, LavenderCurls!

No, I haven't tried any of the Curls products. I've tried DevaCurl products (but disliked the smell), both the light and rich Jessicurls trial packs, and the aforementioned re:coil and B2B gel.

Boy, you sure know how to tempt a PJ, though! Maybe I'll head over to the swap boards to see what Curls products are available...
