I use a very stiff gel as well as a curl enhancing cream, and I start with a good leave-in after rinsing out my condish and before putting in anything else...I have found using a Denman brush after putting in my leave in and before my styling products (see Rudeechick's Super-Soaker method on the "method links" sticky.) really reduces frizz.

When I go on to diffuse, I use the pixiecurl method, that helps loads too! Keep your hair dryer on low/med heat, and on low or medium fan, and *don't turn it on* until you have your hair in the diffuser bowl and have put it against your scalp. Then turn on the diffuser for a few minutes, then turn it off again *before* removing from your hair. Proceed the same way all over your head till hair is dry.

I absolutely solved my horrendous frizz using these two methods! Please check the "Methods" sticky, because there is *loads* of info in there from a lot of wonderful curlies here who discovered them, and kindly shared! there is a Methods sticky at the top of the General Hair topics forum column, and another in the Newbie's column. My advice is keep trying different methods in there till you find one your hair loves, because everyone's hair reacts so differently to things - what helps me may not help you!

Everyone in here saved my hair and I am so grateful! I read all the posts I can cause there is a goldmine of experience in here
Finer, mixed with coarser strands, low-porosity, wavy curly whirly hair...3A, 2C hair. Medium thickness, medium elasticity.
S-shaped hair with corkscrew ends. My hair is even more confused than me ;p
My hair officially hates protein Once a month is enough!
Currently a fan of TiGi products, (rock on, TiGi Curlesque styling creme!) but that will soon change - I am a self-avowed product junkie! Yay!
BIG fan of supersoaker method - thanks Rudeechick!
