From what I've seen in various posts, keratin and silk seem to be the two most agreeable proteins for people who tend to be otherwise protein sensitive- you might want to try one of those. It definitely sounds like you do have some protein sensitivity- make sure to use some heavy-duty moisture to help your hair recover.
