I decided I needed some last minute gifts for the ladies in my life. I cannot for the life of me read crochet patterns/instructions. I have some sort of block. When I am reading knitting patterns, I can see the texture and shapes in my head - not so with crochet patterns. So after fighting for HOURS yesterday trying to follow patterns to crochet snowflakes, I came up with my own pattern. These are too small to be tree ornaments, but they will become earrings. I picked a size 10 white thread that has a tiny sparkly filament in it. In the photo, you see the lumpy wads that they are as soon as I finish crocheting them as well as them pinned out for blocking into shape. I am pleased with how they turned out so far and I cannot wait to unpin them in the morning!!
