you need A LOT of condish as a curly curl! quater size amount is prob too small.

how my curly hair dresser first showed me:
flip hair over- get a PALM FULL of condish. work into under hair.
Flip upright- get ANOTHER PALM FULL of condish- apply this to the top half of your hair.
After it sits for a bit, rinse out.
Mind you I have very thick hair, but the key is lots of condish, curly hair loves moisture and is usually thick, so it sucks it up like crazy.

Most curlies will talk about 'slip' and that's basically what your hair should feel like after you put condish in- nice and slippery.

You could prob start with 1 palm full of condish, distribute it evenly, and then see how your slip feels. If it still feels a little dry, add a bit more condition an reevaluate.
