Yay! I definitely need a buddy! I agree about the pounds lost not really being the key. I'd be fine if I only "lost" 5 pounds on the scale but traded some fat for some muscle mass.

I'm happy with my diet right now. I eat around 1800 cals a day and those are a good mix of proteins and grains and fruits/veggies. I think my biggest issue is that with being in grad school I just sit all day long. I don't even walk to classes because all my classes are all in the same building by necessity. I need to get moving again!

I'm at home for spring break right now, so no access to a gym this week, but I've got some free weights here. So this week I'm striving to do some strength training today, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
