Hair is hair. It doesn't matter what your racial composition is. As said above, it's all about the properties. Curl type is relatively unimportant (generally speaking, the tighter the curl--the more fragile the hair.) As rainboe said, your pictures look like you've done something to pull out your curls. She also suggested that you read some of the stickies at the top of the forums--read and learn. It's the best thing you can do. It will also help you to take care of your daughter's hair.
