I would concentrate on firstly treating your scalp with ingredients like ceramides, aloe vera inner leaf gel, panthenol and allantoin all of which are beneficial for hair too. Secondly using oils on your hair since you will be producing less and less sebum as time goes by. Limit or avoid oils rich in oleic acid because it can be comedogenic and irritating, silicones do not moisturise BTW.

You could make or 'doctor' some of your own products to save money? SMT's are a common deep treatment - a cheap conditioner plus honey plus aloe vera plus a natural oil or butter if you wish. Here in the UK sugar syrup is cheaper than honey and has much the same humectant effect.
