I second Keihs approach. The trick is to use condish on the oil before adding water. After I do an overnight DT w coconut oil, I apply TN condish directly to my dry hair before I get into shower. I massage it through for a min or two just like I would if I were shampooing. Then I get in the shower, wet my hair and massage through some more and rinse. That's all I need to do and it rinses right out. Sometimes after I've rinsed out all the TN I will add just a drop or two of SM Yucca or other low poo just to the scalp and shampoo again. I may or may not use a RO after. I was really worried the first time I did an oil treatment that it would be a problem to remove. I did some reading first and found this trick on the long hair boards if I remember correctly.
