What exactly do you mean by scrunching out the crunch? I hate the feel of crunchy hair so I definitely don't it crunchy. But how do you use gel without making it crunchy?

The crunch is actually called a "gel cast" and it holds the curl in place while protecting it from humidity and frizz while it's wet. As soon as your hair is dry (and you can diffuse to speed it up, if you want), you flip your head back upside down and scrunch all the crunch out. That should reveal beautiful, soft curls.

It really is amazing!!
