My name is Kayla and I live in Northeast Florida in a high heat and high humidity environment. I have ALWAYS fought my curls and that only got worse when I was introduced to a flat iron. I am a naturally curly girl caught in some crazy mixture of 2b, 2c, and 3a. I have high porosity and my hair has a tenancy to fell like a Brillo pad lately. I have high density hair and ALWAYS have. As a child my solution for combating this was to shave the back portion of my hair in the summer so that it would be livable as an adult I just deal with it....and tend to keep my hair pulled back in a pony tail. I have medium to coarse hair more on the coarse side. And it is currently medium length after having most of it chopped off a year ago from being about 5 inches past my shoulders (when dry and curly) to an inverted bob with the shorted being about 2 inches in the back and the longest being about 5-6 inches in the front.
