You'd be surprised to see how many of us use cheap COs such as Suave and VO5 for co-wash because they work really well for cleansing. I even use some of them as LI by just adding a few drops of oil. The "secret" is alternating one that has proteins with one that doesn't, and if there's anything a bit "stubborn" on the hair (like the residue form some gels) to let the CO sit on the hair for a few min. before rinsing it out to give the surfactants a fair chance to break the residue down.
