Hello, so I am new to and I was wondering if you could tell me what products you use so I can gather product reccomendations to try on my hair. Thanks!
LA looks sports gel works wonders for me, it's my holy grail product I love it! I also like using it with Curly Kinks coil custard. I also like Garnier Fructis's curl scrunch gel, although it's not completely CG since it has a drying alcohol in it but it works well for me. But this products may not work well for you if you have a different hair texture and different porosity than I do..
2c/3a some 3b/Thick/Fine texture?/High Porosity
Currently trying out the CG method again as of 1/3/12!

Current Routine:
Co-wash/RO: Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle
Low poo: Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat (when needed)
Products: LA Looks Sports Gel and Curly Kinks Coil Jam

I use Garnier Fructis Leave in conditioner, Aussie 3 minute miracle, OGX Kukui oil shampoo and conditioner, castor oil (you need very little) and Shea Moisture's Curl Enhancing Smoothie (again use very little, as it can make your hair greasy).

I like all the Curl Junkie products. For styling I use Curl Junkie Coffee Coco Curl Creme Lite and mix in a little Curl Junkie Curls in a Bottle which gives me shine.

For stronger hold I sometimes use Curlisto Structura Lotion. To smooth flyaway I am enjoying using AG Smoothing Balm.

That's my winter lineup for now. Come summer - we'll see.

My hair is highly porous and medium density.

Hope that helps!
2/c Coarse hair med. density.
Highly porous. Color over grey.
I love all the Curl Junkie products. Still experimenting with gels and curl creams. Still hoping for 2nd day hair....
Every day is a gift
