Need help with fugly frizzy humid puff by days end

Hi, I am desperate for help and turn to you all, that your collective wisdom may save me from going insane from hair that by day's end is so puffed up and tangled and no longer shiny and actually quite gross.

I have a mixed 3A/B hair. I haven't done the porosity test yet but my strands are themselves fairly fine, except for a few coarse ones here and there. There are a lot of them, although my hair has thinned considerably since I was a teen.

I've always worn my hair curly, proudly so. I have cycled through various product combos, and am currently using Ouidad's cowash to shampoo; Ouidad Balancing Rinse to condition; and Ouidad Climate Control as product (along with, occasionally, that other Ouidad gel in the blue tube.).

In the winter, my hair is mostly great (I live in the greater Toronto area and so winters are fairly cold and indoors it's quite dry because of the forced air heating). The problem comes from spring to fall. If it is even remotely humid outside, and if I have t leave the house before my hair is completely dry (I don't diffuse, as my hair is prone to dryness), my hair puffs up and doesn't dry right. It continues to puff as the day goes on, and each ringlet seems to become entangled in itself, almost like a dreadlock. By days end, my hair is an utter mess. The next morning, it's even worse, and I can rarely do a second day without washing. I can't even put it up, it's so frizzy and tangled and messy and hideous.

Sorry this is so long, I need help!
Welcome. Doesn't really sound like you are doing much in the way of conditioning, you don't mention either a leave in or a deep treatment? The Ouidad rinse sounds to be very lightweight if you read the ingredients and NC reviews, it also contains glycerin which I believe is a 'no no' for many in high or low dew points. Oils are good for sealing, you don't seem to be using any products that contain any oil at all? You also may need to apply a different amount of styling products in different weathers.

Other than that without information about your hair porosity we can't really give any tailored advice, you might be best running a few advanced searches and reading up on what other people use in different dew points even in your area. There are some great articles on different ingredients here on NC by the 'curl chemist' Tonya MacKay and the Natural Haven blog.

Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Au Naturale styling gelee
Flour sack towel, pixie diffuse or air dry.
Experimenting with: benign neglect
In addition to conditioning, I'm wondering if you are putting enough product in your hair.

Many curlies have to layer their products. My basic routine is as follows:
Leave-in conditioner
Curl enhancer
Curlease towel - plop while putting on makeup
Scrunch in either CIAB or Gel-les'c
SOTC with a heavier cream type product.

I'm much more prone to frizz in summer weather. I have to make sure all strands have product on it or I will get frizz.

Type: 3a fine & dense, with normal porosity, terrible product junkie
ROUTINE: LI, enhancer, gel, plop with Curlease towel, serum product (either CIAB or Gel-les'c), clip & diffuse.
Too many favourite products to list ... I finally have my routine that works and alot of products to choose from. My product stash is huge, but well loved !!!
FrizzBGone what cream product do you use to SOTC?
2/c Coarse hair med. density.
Highly porous. Color over grey.
I love all the Curl Junkie products. Still experimenting with gels and curl creams. Still hoping for 2nd day hair....
Every day is a gift
